Step One: Getting to Know Us in a Tour Currently our program serves children ages 2 through 5 years. At Amazing Magic Beans we encourage every interested family to schedule a tour of the school. During the tour you will be given an overview of the program, see children and teachers at work and get a feel for the school. To schedule a tour please call us at 718.786.8091 or e-mail us at [email protected]. If you are interested in enrolling you can submit an application either for immediate enrollment or for future enrollment depending on availability. Please see application form below.
Step Two: Submitting Your Application We have a rolling admissions process throughout the year, however the largest enrollment time occurs for new students beginning April 1st for enrollment in September of the following school year. Applications are accepted prior to April and admission is based on a combination of the date of the application submission, schedule requested, and sibling of current/alumnae family. We will notify all accepted students with a phone call and/or an e-mail notification. If we are unable to enroll a child at the time of registration, the child remains on the waiting list and the family is notified if a place does become available. Step Three: Registering Your Child To accept your child's spot at Amazing Magic Beans you will need to submit a non-refundable $250 deposit and a $150 registration fee. The deposit is applied to the last month that your child is with us as long as we are informed in writing one month prior to your child's last month with us. The $250 deposit is deducted from the final month's tuition.
Step Four: Attending a School Orientation We require all new families to attend a school orientation meeting. We hold two meetings one in May and one in August. All new families must attend one of these two sessions for their child to begin at Amazing Magic Beans. If a child is enrolled during another time of the year this orientation session is held one-on-one with a member of the administration.
Step Five: Your Child's First Day! In order for your child to begin, we will need all paperwork returned to the office including a completed medical form from your child's doctor. Your child will be welcomed into their classroom and we will begin the transitioning process of helping your child adjust to school. Please see first days of school for more information.
